Word, Excel and PowerPoint compatibility
Dazr Docs, Sheets and Slides open and save real .docx, .xlsx and .pptx files. Here is what carries over, what is kept without being editable, and the known limits.
Kept and editable: opens, can be changed and is saved back. Kept, not editable: shown or carried along in the file and saved back unchanged. Not kept: missing after you save in Dazr.
Converting between formats can change the layout or drop features, so check important documents after converting.
Word documents (.docx) in Dazr Docs

Fonts
A document keeps the names of its fonts, so it looks the same again in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. On screen, Dazr uses the font if it is installed on your device or is one of the fonts that come with Dazr Suite. Otherwise a similar font is shown, and lines and pages can break in other places. Install the fonts your organisation uses, or pick one of the Dazr Suite fonts, for documents that must look exactly right.
Good to know
- Files with a password to open cannot be opened. Remove the password in the original app first.
- Macros never run in Dazr Suite, in any format.
- Each file can be up to 100 MB.
- The apps also open and save OpenDocument files (.odt, .ods, .odp), and export to PDF.
